Made‑to‑Measure Tailoring
Our Prices
For weddings, ceilidhs, lollygagging and those times when a ‘quick half’ stretches into the early hours.
Tailoring is a complex process, but at DATTs we believe in being as transparent as possible with our made-to-measure prices.
Once we’ve agreed on the specs of your tailoring, the price we give you is the price to walk out the door in your new outfit.
No faff. No hidden fees. Just sharp clothes.

Hand-cut patterns. Proper Cloth. Fit that doesn’t quit.
We love to hear when you have something out of the ordinary to chat about. Get in contact and share your vision.
We offer a great range of tweeds from Lovat Mill, Marton Mills, and Abraham Moon. Various Harris Tweeds are also available at a premium.
Our timeline is usually 10-12 from when we receive your chosen cloth from themill. (It’s the big thing no tailor can control!)

What Affects Price?
Basically, you are paying for cloth and time. The more complex your design or the more expensive the cloth you have chosen, the higher the price becomes.
Factors changing the price include:
- Cloth (mill, composition, weight, rarity)
- Harris Tweed
- Style complexity
- Handwork vs machine finish
- Number of fittings (Our standard is 2)
- Timelines (express fees apply)
Initial consultation appointments usually last about 60 minutes – depending on how decisive you are. We’ll talk about style, cloth, fit, and how far you want to push the edge.
